“We Are Here: Songs from the Holocaust”

Write Out Loud
I am very proud to be a winner of the 2022 Write Out Loud Contest! This wonderful organization lifts up young songwriters, partnering with Broadway alums to record their music and put on a concert at 54 Below (September 26th). Stream the EP here!

As of 2022 I am a proud member of the Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists! Getting to work on TV and Film sets for the first time was one of my favorite parts of 2021 and I can’t wait for more this year, in the great company of 160,000 other Union artists.
A Bridge to the Moon
Pleased to announce that A BRIDGE TO THE MOON (book, music, lyrics) won Third Prize at the international Search for New Musicals 2021 at New Musicals, Inc. in Los Angeles!
Written by and starring Emmet Smith, Ruchir Khazanchi, and Michael-Ellen Walden, A Bridge to the Moon celebrates the power of a child’s dreams and the risks we will take to care for our community. In collaboration with the American Music Theatre, this iteration of our heartfelt folk musical is a filmed theatre piece: 70 minutes of us making music, making believe, and making absolute fools of ourselves in my living room-turned mythical island of Marama.
CGF Talent
This Spring, I began my journey with CGF Talent, an NYC-based legit talent agency representing actors in theatre, TV, and film.
Since then, I have been lucky to go on wonderful auditions and act on feature film and TV sets including CBS Network, NBC Universal, Netflix Film, and more!

Sunrise Northwestern
This winter, I and fellow student climate activists founded Northwestern’s hub of the Sunrise Movement fighting for environmental justice, combating climate change, and creating millions of good jobs in the process.
State of the Art
Check out the WORLD’S VERY FIRST ZOOM MUSICAL (to my knowledge), last year’s Waa-Mu Show. I had the pleasure to serve as Writing Coordinator for State of the Art, which follows a covert group of artists vandalizing world-renowned pieces of street art in a not-so-distant future metropolis.
